The Woman at Window

Over time we have heard some variation of this story...

"A girl in a window of an apartment or a house but strangely never goes out to the outside. We do not know how she looks or where she comes from, but the strange thing happens when finally asked her whereabouts, the woman died a long time ago."

Once I knew a guy who mentions how he spent several hours talking through the window with a woman in an old apartment building where he lived.

One day, he decided to go to her apartment, an old woman opened the door and told him that there was no young women there, the man believed that the girl was hiding from him and entered the apartment looking for her until he saw on a shelf a series of photographs. "She is the girl" he said to the old woman pointing to a young woman who was in a family photo. The old woman sat down and began to cry and said, "She was our daughter, loved to see out the window and talk a lot, but a day without thinking, she just jumped".

Is it true or the invention of someone by becoming famous?. I don't know, but just in case, if you see an unknown girl in a window, think twice before you ask for her.
